Culsharg Cottage

Culsharg Cottage is a single-storey bungalow which is simply, but colourfully decorated with comfortable beds.  Our rate for direct bookings is 95 per night, with discounts available for longer stays.

The cottage has oil-fired central heating, and a log burning stove in the living room for those cosy winter nights. During your stay you can have as many baskets of logs as you desire, and we can help you "fire up" if you need assistance.

The kitchen is modern and has cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. The hot water is an "on-demand" system. The bathroom has a walk in shower and enclosure; there is no bath. There is plenty of free on-site parking.

Dogs or other pets are welcome, but please keep them off all furniture and out of the bedrooms.  The back garden is fully enclosed for your furry friends' safety. The rear bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage. The front bedroom has three single beds. The cottage is thus suitable for up to five people. Fresh bed linen is provided for each guest along with a bath towel for each guest and hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom.  If you need more towels, please feel free to ask.

In the living room there are a couple of sofas and a table/chairs for meals, but while there is a TV provided in the cottage, there is no TV reception (or licence) at the cottage. We do, however, have a Roku streaming device and DVD player so you can watch DVDs or log in to your own Netflix/Prime accounts.

There is free Wi-Fi inside the cottage.

There is secure bike storage (a shed!) and bike wash facilities (a hose!). We also usually have a few spares lying around, and there is an experienced bike mechanic living in the village for any more serious mechanicals.
